I feel like it will depend on the condition of the penny like jagged edges probably 10% of water will stay maybe

Seeing as though the drops of water were smaller than I expected, and the penny can hold so much more than I thought, I would say it would be around 43-50 drops, but every experiment varies, there's no direct answer to every one.
